Klagenfurt has a good supply of supermarkets almost around every corner
so you are never too far from everyday conveniences. Supermarket chains
such as Euro Spar offer a huge range of foods and general good from a
sandwich to an electric bicycle.
Supermarkets and food stores are generally open from 7.30am to 7pm. Euro
Spar offers the best range at reasonable prices but the cheapest food
shopping in town is LIDL supermarket, August-Jaksch-Strasse 48, HOFER
supermarket, Villacherstrasse 45.
If its a Sunday, you will probably find that BILLA near the Train Station
is the only game in town. Opening hours 6am-9pm weekdays and till 5pm on
Sundays.
